Comment: | The Youth Action Network is a membership organisation that supports and develops a range of youth volunteering projects across England. They provide training, information and guidance on:
recruiting, supporting and recognising the achievements of young volunteers;
developing youth action projects, led by young people;
engaging young people in decision-making;
encouraging young people into active citizenship.
They also support and enable their members to work towards achieving recognised quality standards in both service delivery and organisational development.
Youth Action enables thousands of young people across the country to become active in their own time, meet other young people, gain skills, have fun and put into reality their ideas and priorities that are of benefit to their own communities.
At the heart of Youth Action is giving young people real opportunities to play a key role in the design, delivery and evaluation of projects.
