The South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre works with all School and Youth Groups including Special schools and included pupils with special needs. They host some targeted events such as the Youth Service Wet and Wild event for disabled young people. They also host SWORDS (South West Organization for Racing Disabled Sailors). South Cerney Outdoor Education Centre is an RYA (Royal Yachting Association) Training Centre and Sailability Foundation site. They are also BCU (British Canoe Union) approved and AALA (Adventure Activities Licensing Authority) Licensed. They have some specialist knowledge in providing core activities - Sailing, Windsurfing, Kayaking and Canoeing for Disabled People
Most facilities and buildings are adapted and accessible and they have some specialist equipment.

Also open 9:00am to 5:00pm Mondays to Fridays in August, and 9:00am to 5:00pm at weekends April to October (excluding August).
