Organisation:Rural Minds

Comment:

RuralMinds is a national Mind project, working to promote mental health in rural communities. They are in the process of developing a database of good practice in rural mental health ie. action that works to benefit people with mental health problems in rural areas eg. providing services, user empowerment, increasing access, mental health promotion, campaigning or partnership working. By developing a database, ruralMinds hopes to build up a map of rural expertise which will be used to inform Mind nationally as well as local organisations and individuals on "What exists" and "What works". Particular information is held on support for black and minority ethnic groups in rural areas and user groups.
