The Gloucester Credit Union (formerly the Glevum Credit Union) is a non-profit making financial co-operative which offers a convenient savings and low interest loans service to its members. Anyone living or working in the Gloucester City (GL1, GL2, GL3, GL4) area - as determined by the Gloucester Credit Union - can apply to join.
Credit Unions are well established in Great Britain and are part of the Co-Operative Movement. They offer free life insurance on your savings (subject to age) and very low cost loans with no hidden charges.
You can also volunteer to help run the Gloucester Credit Union.

The Gloucester Credit Union is open to the public at the following times and places:
+ Monday, 9:30am to 12:00pm at Podsmead Neighbourhood Project;
+ Thursday, 12 noon to 3:00pm at 107 Barton Street, Gloucester;
+ Wednesday, 9:30 to 11:15am at Matson Neighbourhood Project;
+ Wednesday, 1:30 to 3:30pm at Brockworth Community Project, Court Road, Brockworth;
+ Saturday, 12 noon to 3:00pm at 107 Barton Street, Gloucester.
