Active Employability is an individually designed employment-training programme. The course is approximately six months in duration, ans is available to to young people aged sixteen to twenty five, with a physical, sensory and / or learning disability. The course is jointly funded by the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Learning and Skills Council (LSC) and is free to learners.

The students work towards Level 1 or Level 2 qualification in either Career Planning or Preparation for Employment. This course offers a flexible and person-centred programme that has a real community focus. The learner will have a Personal Tutors and Job Mentors to support them in achieving a positive outcome and progressing into further education, training and / or meaningful occupation, both paid and voluntary.
