Runaway Helpline is a twenty four hour confidential helpline for runaways operated by the charity Missing People (see separate record), offering help and advice to young people who have run away from home or care, or who have been forced to leave home. Runaway Helpline offers a Freefone number and email service. If appropriate, Runaway Helpline can help young people to contact their family, carer, a support agency, such as social services or a young person's project, or help them to find a place of safety.
