Comment: | The Family Support Service at the Sue Ryder Care Leckhampton Court Hospice now also offers a Carers Support Group, facilitataed by the Head of Family Support and a day hospice nurse. The group meets monthly, on the second Wednesday of the month, in the Conservatory of the Day Hospice Building.
The Carers Group offers the opprtunity to:
meet other carers and share experiences of caring for someone with a life-shortening illness;
exchange practical tips;
share concerns about coping with and preparing for the progression of the illness;
access informaation and support;
hear occasional talks from visiting speakers.
Refreshments are provided, and attendance is free of charge. |
