Comment: | Cotswold and Vale PCT provides this service for patients of all ages. Referrals can also be made by District Nurses on behalf of GP's and by Social Services Occupational Therapists. The Community Physiotherapy Service provides assessment, advice and treatment as appropriate for patients in their own homes, nursing and residential homes in the South Cotswold's. Advice is also provided to carers. The service aims to facilitate rehabilitation and maximise mobility and physical independence in the home environment.
Physiotherapy treatment is also provided in Cirencester Hospital, either in the Outpatients department or in the Assessment and Rehabilitation Unit. |
