Comment: | Calvert Trust Centres provide activity holidays and courses for visitors of all abilities, with full accessibility. All activities at Calvert Trust Centres are run to National Governing Body guidelines by highly trained and qualified staff who are skilled in working with all levels of ability. Set in the Kielder Forest and close to Keilder Water, the Keilder Centre was purpose built to accommodate people with a wide range of disabilities, their families and friends.
Guests can take part in activities which include sailing, canoeing, climbing, abseiling, archery and swimming. Instruction and equipment are provided. Ten self-catering chalets are also available.
In addition to the above, the Calvert trust is registered for respite care, offering care to people aged over eighteen. It is also the holder of an "Access for All" award. |
