| Organisation: | GCC Children and Young People's Directorate - Children and Families Helpdesk |
Comment: | Gloucestershire Children and Young People's Directorate's Children and Families Helpdesk is the first point of contact for Social Services for children (generally children under the age of sixteen; older for children with disabilities or in other exceptional circumstances). This is where all general enquiries regarding Social Services and requests for new referrals for children or families are received. The Children and Families Helpdesk can provide information and help for children, their parents and carers, regarding social care, health, financial and general support needs. The aim is to provide easier access to multi-agency services in Gloucestershire.
The Children and Families Helpdesk works alongside the Adult Helpdesk (Tel. 01452-426868) and GUIDE Information (Tel. 0800-444000 or 01452-331131) in the Gloucestershire County Council Customer Service Contact Centre.
(Customers who have an open file with Social Services should contact their local Social Services area office; people who have a closed file will need to contact the Helpdesk again for further services)
SevaLine on 01452-427000 is the contact line for people who speak Gujarati (see separate record). |
