Young Minds provides a Parent Information Service for anyone with concerns about the mental health of a child or young person - the phone number is 0800-018-2138 - available Monday and Friday: 10:00am to 1:00pm, Wednesday 1:00 to 4:00pm and 6:00 to 8:00pm and Tuesday to Thursday: 1:00 to 4:00pm.
Other Services include training and consultancy and a wide range of publications for young people, parents and professionals covering issues affecting children such as depression, bullying, self-harm etc. The website is very informative and key to the service.
YoungMinds also publishes a bi-monthly magazine for everyone who works with children and young people. |
