Families and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (FFLAG) is a national voluntary organisation of parents of lesbian, gay and bisexual children and a registered charity, with helplines and parents' support groups across the UK. It provides confidential support for parents and their gay, lesbian and bi-sexual sons or daughters. FFLAG will put callers in touch with their local parent contact who offers a confidential, listening ear. FFLAGs local Parents Groups provide a chance to meet other parents in a friendly and informal setting and offer support where needed. FFLAG also provides education for individuals and the media regarding gay and lesbian issues. FFLAG provides befriending, publications, speakers and helplines.
