Quitline, run by the charity QUIT, is a national telephone helpline for smokers who need advice or help in stopping. Ex-smokers can also ring for encouragement. It is staffed by fully trained cessation counsellors. If you want to attend a stop smoking group, Quitline will give you details of your nearest group.
There is also an Asian Quitline (1:00 to 9:00pm) (see separate record).
