This group is designed to help women with a diagnosis of secondary breast cancer. It will provide a service for women whose disease has returned, or for those who have been told their disease has spread to other parts of their body.
Whilst family and friends are often a great support, at times it can help to meet others in a similar position. The group will provide an opportunity to share ideas, support, and to think through the issues facing women with secondary breast cancer.
The group will meet on a regular basis in the evenings at a central venue in Gloucester, and will be run by Jane Fide, Lead Clinical Nurse Specialist for Breast Care and Diana Crossley, Macmillan Clinical Psychologist.
