Fairfield Opportunity Farm is a specialist College of Further Education providing three-year courses in independent living and pre-vocational training courses for sixteen to twenty five year olds. Courses, day or residential, are tailored to meet the individuals perceived needs. Courses include:
+ communication and numeracy:
+ engineering;
+ house maintenance skills:
+ farming;
+ horticulture;
+ horse studies;
+ catering and daily living skills.
Independant living courses are included with all these subjects. Funding is usually applied for by Social Worker or Connexions Personal Advisor, available from the Learning Skills Council. Private clients are also accepted.
