Comment:

The Heulwen was the first boat in the world to be built for disabled people. A new boat, Heulwen 2, was named by Prince Charles in May 1993. Day bookings are from 9:00am to 5:00pm. The boats are professionally crewed, with a full galleys equipped with cookers, fridge, water heater etc. Both boats are fully heated, with wheelchair ramps, and one boat has lifts.
The Trust is now building its capital to commence building the holiday home at the moorings site which the Trust has purchased. Groups or Clubs can ring for a day on the Montgomery Canal.
