Comment: | Scenario Arts in Personal Development offers courses in Drama Therapy, which helps to form a bridge between the art form of theatre and the healing power of drama itself. Scenario Arts' courses provide an experiential introduction to the theory and practice of Dramatherapy as a foundation for professional training or continued professional development in the workplace. They may be of particular interest to those working in the caring professions, the NHS and / or social services, or to people with a professional interest in the therapeutic value of the drama and theatre processes.
The four day intensive courses run approximately every three months, and regular tasters are offered. The certificate course runs over five weekends and a summer school, and is accredited by the University of Worcester as equivalent to thirty credit points at Level One with the UCW Undergraduate Modular Scheme.
Dramatherapy provides a creative vehicle for the transformation of feelings, and a space in which to temporarily escape the confines of everyday reality within a safe and permissible environment. |
