Bishops Cleeve Seniors Club is for retired people. It is self-funding, funds being raised by sales of Books, Bric-a-Brac, Clothes, Social Events and Activities
They also have Musical Evenings, outings to various places of interest, and Guest Speakers. The club has over three hundred members, is non-Sectarian and non-Political; everybody will be made very welcome.
It is run by its members, and provides various activities on six or seven days a week. These activities are:
Mondays - 9:30am Exercise Class, 2:00pm Bingo, 7:00pm Art Class;
Tuesdays - 11:00am French Conversation, 1:45pm Whist, 3:15pm Yoga, 7:00pm Skittles;
Wednesdays - 10:00am Coffee Morning, 10:00am (second and fourth Wednesdays of the month) Poetry for Pleasure, 10:30am (first Wednesday) Walking Group, 2:00pm Skittles, 4:30pm Bowls for Beginners;
Thursdays - 10:00am Bowls, 1:45pm Whist, 4:30pm Bowls;
Fridays - 10:00am Bowls, 2:00pm Painting / Sketching / Handicrafts;
Saturdays - 10:00am Coffee Morning;
Sundays - 2:00pm afternoon tea once a month.
