Comment: | Gloucestershire Playgroup and Toddler Association (PATA) was established in 1992 and provides support, information and advice to early years settings in the voluntary sector across the county. Through their membership scheme, they represent almost twenty thousand children and their families linked to toddler groups, playgroups and out of school clubs. They also include many of the county's nurseries and early years centres as PATA members, and a number of individuals.
PATA delivers support services and training to individuals and settings offering childcare, education and play opportunities. These services are now available nationally, and details of PATA's work can be obtained by phoning them, or visiting their website. PATA has just launched a mobile creche service in the North Cotswolds area which will eventually expand to cover other parts of the county including Stroud and the Forest of Dean. The mobile creche will enable professional childcare to be offered alongside learning and training courses. |
