Comment: | The South West Region of the Housing Corporation develops regional strategies, liaises with local authorities and housing associations, and allocates funds to housing associations in that region. They approve new housing projects, monitor housing associations to make sure that they meet performance standards and arrange for the payment of grants.
The South West Region covers the former county of Avon, Cornwall, Isles of Scilly, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.
