Comment: | PACT is based at the Sheffields Children Hospital and offers help to any family in the Trent Regional Health Authority affected by childhood cancer. It is also accepting children for transplant surgery from other health authorities inc. Nottingham and Leicester. It provides ongoing support if required to both parents and children. Informal parties and outings are arranged for fun and friendship. PACT supports research projects and will purchase equipment as requested. Also provides Home from Home accommodation at PACT House for families whilst a child is undergoing treatment.
Holiday caravans are based at Primrose Valley, Filey, and Berwick-on-Tweed, enabling families to take a short break. |
