Comment: | The Blue Badge Network is a charity formed in 1991 to look after the interests of Blue Badge holders from the whole of Great Britain; some of their members also live abroad. It aims to keep holders of the Blue parking permit up to date - through a quarterly magazine - with legislation, information and ideas relating to parking badge matters in particular, and disability issues in general.
The Network lobbies Parliament on such matters and is regularly invited by Government to participate in the consultation stage of Bills going through Parliament.
A telephone help-line is available, plus assistance given on an individual basis in various avenues of expertise.
The Network also seeks to maintain the integrity and validity of the concessionary parking permit (Blue Badge) by the prevention of fraud and misuse of this valuable asset.
