Comment: | The Bourton Wednesday Centre meets on Wednesdays, in the common room of Market Close. It is run quite independently of the sheltered housing complex. The day starts at 10:00am; coffee, tea and biscuits are served until 11:00am. A variety of activities are provided, such as cards, games and taped music. A two course hot lunch is served at noon, followed by bingo at 1:00pm. The Day Centre closes at 2:00pm.
Summer outings are usually organised for a Wednesday and sometimes a theatre or pantomime trip is arranged in winter months. |
