The Association offers help and support to all cardiac patients and their families-carers, especially those awaiting or who have had heart surgery. Its activities include running a national helpline, having Area Groups throughout the British Isles (local support is also available via the Area Group system), offers a general leaflet which is available on requests to agencies, running a membership scheme (Member and Associate Members - details of costs on request). The Association offers unconditional help - it is not a requirement to be a member. Members receive a bi-monthly magazine.
