Organisation:Restless Legs Syndrome / Ekbom Support Group

Comment:

The aim of this group is to help people with Ekbom Syndrome (ES or Restless Leg Syndrome), and to make the condition more widely known to the medical profession and the public generally. All new members are sent an information pack and receive newsletters containing help and advice. Everyone joining is asked to complete a short questionnaire and the information from these, identified by reference number only, is collated and passed on to a neurologist (only if permission has been given) for research.
A pen-pal service is available, as is reference to a consultant neurologist if required (private or NHS).
This service is entirely voluntary and donations of money or postage stamps are gratefully accepted.
