Mildmay Hospital is the UK's leading specialist provider of care for HIV / AIDS and other chronic conditions with a special focus on rehabilitation. In addition, adult residential services include health related respite, long term and terminal care all involving twenty four hour nursing and medical cover as part of a holistic approach provided by the interdisciplinary team. This includes occupational therapy, physiotherapy, counselling and social care chaplaincy, aroma and art therapy, massage and dietician and adherence advice. Family referrals are assessed on an individual basis. Mildmay Hospital also has the only unit in the UK to specialise in HIV Related Brain Impairment. Staff are equipped to deal with mental health and/or drug and alcohol issues. HRBI and Generic HIV / AIDS Daycare is available to both residential and community attenders. The nursery can also offer specialist support for residential children.
