Dreamflight is a registered charity whose aim is to give seriously ill or disabled children a chance to have the holiday of a lifetime at Disneyworld in Florida. The basic criteria requires that the children are between the ages of eight and fourteen and are currently, or have been, seriously ill. A consultant paediatrician scrutinises each case and makes the final selection. A flight goes once a year once a year in October, taking around two hundred children, together with a full medical team.
