The Soil Association is an educational membership charity which aims to promote to the public the benefits of organic food and farming with regard to human and environmental health. It is funded by trusts, membership subscriptions and donations and the activities of the charity are directed by a Council of Trustees elected by the membership. Information is disseminated to the public via publications, leaflets, events and exhibitions. Members receive a newsletter and magazine four times a year. Books and products available through bookshop-mail order catalogue.
