Comment:

The British Association of Teachers of the Deaf (BATOD) is primarily for teachers, but it aims to encompass the educational interests of all deaf children, young people and adults. They will also respond to queries and offer advice. Conferences are organised to develop the professional expertise of Association members. There are seven Regions / Counties which organise meetings, workshops and activities locally. Courses and conferences are open to non-members. Additional information on matters connected with the education of deaf people is available on the website.
