The Thalidomide Society is a national charity which aims to support people with Thalidomide related and similar disabilities to overcome their difficulties. The organisation is user-led and provides help and advice enabling its members to meet, exchange information and share experiences. Thalidomide caused a unique range of disabilities and peer support is vital to the majority of those affected. The Society provides information, advice and support to families of children with similar disabilities and to professional workers
