Organisation:Dimbleby Cancer Care

Comment:

Dimbleby Cancer Care (DCC) was established in memory of Richard Dimbleby, one of Britain’s most distinguished BBC radio and television broadcasters, who died of cancer aged only fifty two. His decision to reveal publicly that he was suffering from cancer - a taboo subject in those days – was a brave one.
DCC exists to support research into cancer and to offer care and comfort to those living with cancer. They fund world class research, and provide finance for centres offering information, complementary therapies and group support, as well as psychological support, for cancer sufferers.
