Comment: | Disability Wales is the National Association of disability groups striving to achieve rights, equality and choice for all disabled people in Wales. It works by developing and supporting local, regional and national disability groups and networks. It encourages and enables constructive dialogue between disability organisations, statutory and professional agencies, and supports and develops local groups throughout Wales.
Disability Wales works to the social model of disability, recognising that people are disabled more by poor design, inaccessible services and other peoples attitudes than by their impairment. |
