Comment: | Stonham is one of England's largest providers of housing, care and support for vulnerable people. They run over five hundred services, working in partnership with local authorities, health care providers, probation services and others delivering services to over eleven thousand people each year.
As well as providing housing and support, much of Stonham's work is about ensuring that people can live securely and independently, whoever is providing the roof over their heads.
Stonham specialises in providing housing with support to:
single homeless people;
people with mental-health problems;
people with learning or physical disabilities;
young people leaving care;
people who have been in prison or through the courts;
women and their children who are escaping domestic violence;
refugees/asylum seekers;
vulnerable mothers and their babies;
people with drug and/or alcohol dependency problems. |
