Comment: | The National Consumer Council is a research organisation developing and promoting policies that will benefit consumers of goods and services of all kinds.
They do not provide an advice service or any direct service to the public. Any matters people wish to raise with the National Consumer Council should be raised through other organisations, such as the CAB or the individual company concerned.
The purpose of the Council is to make all consumers matter and they do this by putting forward the consumer interest, particularly of disadvantaged groups in society, by researching, campaigning and working with those who can make a difference to achieve beneficial change. They are a non-profit making company, part funded by the DTI. |
