NACRO helps people who have been in trouble with the law and those at risk of becoming so to deal with the problems they face and to be reaccepted into society without stigma. NACRO exists to promote a more humane and constructive criminal justice system and to prevent crime. They operate housing, employment and training projects for ex-offenders and others, crime prevention projects, provides information and training services for those in the field of criminal justice and a welfare fund for prisoners families.
Leaflets are available to be purchased for the use of prisoners, ex-offenders, and practitioners working with them.
There is also the Resettlement Plus Helpline on 020-7840-6464, which offers information and advice to prisoners, ex-offenders, their families and friends, and the people who work with them.
