Comment: | Together for Wellbeing (formerly the Mental After Care Association (MACA)) is a mental health charity providing services in the community, hospitals and prisons. With up to eighty services throughout the country, they support more than fifteen hundred people with severe and enduring mental health needs and their carers. They work in partnership with health authorities, local authorities, housing associations and other voluntary organisations.
They offer care which is appropriate to each individual and designed to encourage independence and self-respect, including Supported Accommodation, Community Support, Day Care, Social Clubs, Employment Training, Carer Support and Services for Mentally Disordered Offenders and Information and Training Services. They are registered with CCETSW to offer assessment for NVQ's in Care, and Special Needs Housing. |
