Comment:

Cheltenham Alternatives is a County resource, providing a range of accommodation with support for young people who are vulnerable, because of homelessness or other reasons. The accommodation is situated in Cheltenham and ranges from 'high support' provision to independent move-on flats.
Cheltenham Alternatives is based around Cotswold House, a high support project providing a twenty four hour service to fourteen young people, mainly between sixteen and twenty one years old, in self contained bed-sits, one of which is adapted for someone with physical disabilities.
There are laundry facilities, and weekly food provisions are provided.
Jenner House, at 22 St. George's Place, provides eight one-bed move-on flats. It is staffed during the day, with Cotswold House staff providing emergency twenty four hour assistance. Tenants can move back to Cotswold House should they be unable to cope.
Both properties are very secure, with alarm systems and CCTV cameras.
