The British Brain Tumour Association (BBTA) exists to disseminate information about brain and spinal tumours and to raise awareness and funds for brain tumour research. It is a charity formed in 1993 by Roy Grainger in honour of his daughter who died as result of a brain tumour. The BBTA also develops and sets up support groups across the country and fosters links with like-minded groups around the world, to exchange information and goodwill.
