The Pain Relief Foundation (PRF) is a UK charity which funds research into the causes and treatment of human chronic pain and is concerned with education of doctors and nurses in pain management. The PRF aims to advance and promote all forms of medical research into relief of pain. They have produced a series of leaflets dealing with chronic pain conditions as follows:
shingles and postherpetic neuralgia;
phantom limb pain;
fibromyalgia;
low back pain;
sciatica;
arthritis;
managing cancer pain;
trigeminal neuralgia;
headache;
painful diabetic neuropathy.
The above leaflets are available to the public by sending an A4 50p SAE, specifying which leaflets are required.
