The Ann Craft Trust (ACT) is an association concerned with facilitating the protection of adults and children with learning disabilities from all forms of abuse, through an information exchange via a quarterly bulletin, the ACT Membership Network and an Annotated Bibliography. ACT also offers training workshop packages, seminars and conferences to statutory, voluntary and private organisations. ACT undertakes research looking at issues relating to the abuse of people with learning disabilities and advises on practice issues. It is a membership organisation and there is free membership available to unwaged members or those on social benefit.
