Comment: | The Evelina Childrens Heart Organisation (ECHO) is a support group for parents of children with congenital heart problems receiving treatment, either as an in-patient or out-patient at Guys Hospital, or seen by Guys consultants at local hospitals. Activities include:
visiting parents at Guys on a weekly basis to chat and offer support ;
providing information on heart problems in children;
providing a support network for families when they are not in hospital;
providing non-medical services and facilities for families staying at Guys;
producing a quarterly Newsletter for members. |
