Through the Make-a-wish Foundation UK, a child who has a life-threatening illness may have their favourite wish granted. Siblings under the age of eighteen, and parents can be included in the wish. Wishes have no limits other than a childs imagination; somewhere special a child wants to go, someone a child wants to meet or even something special a child wants to own.
Previous wishes have included a trip to Disneyworld, becoming a vets assistant for a day, receiving an IBM computer, and meeting a famous celebrity.
