Comment:

The main aim of the Council for Disabled Children (CDC) is to promote co-operation between the different voluntary and professional agencies concerned with disabled children and young people, and in particular children with Special Educational Needs. The Council for Disabled Children also acts as an advisory body in the disabled field, and signposts organisations and individuals to sources of information and help. The Council also oversees the work of the National Parent Partnership Network providing advice, information and support to parents of children with special educational needs. It is associated with the National Childrens Bureau.
