The Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT) is the professional body for speech and language therapists in the UK. It is responsible for the promotion and maintenance of high standards in the education, clinical practice and ethical conduct of speech and language therapists. The RCSLT has published "Communicating Quality", which is a guide to good practice in speech and language therapy, and is available from the College. It also maintains a register of practising members. In addition, careers information can also be obtained by calling the College - please send an SAE.
