Comment:

Abapstas is a small, national voluntary and campaigning organisation whose members are blind and partially sighted people interested in education and training. Most are students, teachers, lecturers or people working in the field of education. A number of members have finished their studies and training, but still give support to others.
Abapstas offers advice and information, newsletters, a magazine and an annual conference. It advises educational establishments, voluntary agencies, local and central Government on issues concerning blind and partially sighted people.
Abapstas also has two e-mail support groups for students and teachers.
