First Steps to Freedom (FSTF) is a national registered charity, set up to help people with phobias or obsessive and compulsive disorders (OCD), tranquillizer withdrawal and general anxiety disorders, via a confidential helpline. Trained volunteers are available on the phonelines from 10:00am every day.
There are leaflets available for members, non-members and carers on phobias, OCD and tranquillizers. For members there is a correspondence course, newsletters and leaflets, book / audio lists, videos and tapes.
