Comment: | The Accessible Boating Association (ABA) has two boats based on the Basingstoke Canal in Hampshire which are designed for disabled people. 'Dawn' is a self-drive boat for day cruises for groups of up to twelve people, six of whom could be in wheelchairs. There is a small galley for making hot drinks, central heating and disabled W.C. Half and full day bookings are taken.
The seven-berth holiday boat, 'Madam Butterfly', is available for disabled people to have holidays afloat with their family friends or carers.
The Bookings Manager is Peter Bridle, and he can be contacted on 01252-622520. |
