Based in Portsmouth on the South Coast of England, theRo-Ro Sailing Project was formed in 1992. More than ten thousand disabled people their families and friends have now sailed with the RoRo project. Ro-Ro has:
+ two fully wheelchair accessible yachts available at subsidised costs;
+ a fully accessible club house, pontoons, toilet / shower, bar, parking;
+ formed a registered charity to run the project;
+ carried out extensive research on existing facilities;
+ raised over £500,000 to fund the charity;
+ organised accessible training facilities.
