The Child Poverty Action Group (CPAG) aims to ensure that low income families get the benefits due to them, and campaigns for an improved Social Security and Tax Credit system to meet the needs of families with children. A telephone advice service is offered - to benefits advisers only - on 020-7833-4627 from Monday to Friday, 2:00pm to 4:00pm.
A range of training courses on welfare rights is available, together with the following publications:

CPAG lobbies government and campaigns for policies to prevent, alleviate and eradicate child poverty in the UK. They take up test cases on Social Security.
