| Organisation: | Disability Benefit Centre |
Comment: | There are eight Disability Benefit Centres across the UK. Each one deals with initial applications for Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance, within their own geographical area. The Leeds DBC covers Yorkshire and Humberside. Queries with regard to the progress of individual applications can be sent direct to the DBC. Once a final decision has been made the DBC will continue to deal with payments, changes in circumstances, reconsider requests and appeals for three months. After this time the claim will be transferred to the Disability Contact Processing Unit (DCPU) at Blackpool (Helpline 08457-123456) who will deal with any further aspects. |
